♥ Today is 29 FEB !~!
Today is a special day!!! Coz it's leap year!!! Well, looking back the past 4 years, think pretty much has changed. I've moved from Yishun to Sengkang, I've ORD from the army, I've entered NUS and studying right now... I've grown FAT!!! OMG... think the last change is the most terrible one. =(
Well, time really flies. Muz really cherish whatever you have right now - your family, your loved ones, your friends, and your time. Don't waste your time doing things of no value. Muz strive to create value for yourself as well as others. Maybe coz i'm in Soka (创价 - creating value) ? lol...
To everyone: Life is precious. Lead a meaningful life which is yours and yours only.
PS: to all Catholic High ppl, remember our 10-yrs pact with Chen Jie Jue? it'll be on 1 feb 2009, 12pm at Catholic High canteen. LOl...

♥ Italy Trip (Day 1)
Shall continue from where I last stopped... After arriving at Milan airport, we took a bus to a nearby town, Besana, where we spent the rest of the week. The journey was quite long, definitely longer than traveling anywhere in Singapore. Many of us were very tired and fell asleep, but
some were busy taking pictures. =)

Left: our tour guide
When we finally reached Besana, our host families were already there at the town square. The person-in-charge then read out our name as well as the host family whom we will be staying with. My host family are two kind, grandparents - Luigi and Angela. =) They were very comical and full of vigor. They stay in 2-storey terrace-like house, whereby the few terrace will curl around and have a open area in the middle. Can imagine? When Ming Wei and I reached their house, there was quite a crowd. 2 of their grandchildren were there, and a couple of their neighbours. =) We had a great lunch before they brought us out for sightseeing. =)

We first went to this river where there's this floating platform. Initially, we were told that it's being designed by... erm.. some famous person. lol... well, at first glance, it seemed normal right? That's wad i tot so initially. But then, they asked us to go onto the platform. In the middle of the platform, there was a vertical, cylindrical beam which touched a cable linking to the other side of the river. Can you see from the picture?Soon, there was this uncle who appeared and started pulling a rope, linking to the cable. Before I realise, the platform started moving a bit and the cylindrical beam was rolling along the cable and the platform MOVED! Somehow, after the uncle started pulling, the platform began to roll along the cable by itself and did not slow down, until we reached the other end of the river. This is so amazing and i think there muz be a lot of physics behind it. Who can believe an old uncle can actually made the super heavy platform move and it actually sustained its motion all the way through wonderful mechanics behind the design. Lol...
Shall continue soon... =)

♥ I will be back!!!
... with a fresh new look and a brand new start. Although it's already the mid-semester, but it's never too late to start all over again. It's human nature to proceed by the path of least resistance; it's common to find your willpower dissolving as time passes by.
But I will stand up, yet again. Refreshed, and rejuvenated.
